It is with great pleasure, I welcome you to Namita Education and Welfare Society’s (NEWS) Siddharth College of Arts, Commerce and Science. Namita Education Society’s Siddharth College of Arts, Commerce and Science, a minority institution has been established way back in 1997 by Shri. N. S. Jadhav is a visionary. The college got affiliated with the University of Mumbai in 2012.

I am honoured to have the opportunity to bless the staff, students, parents, and all stakeholders at this institution. My prayer is that God blesses and guides this prestigious institution for many generations to come according to His generosity.

The vision of our college is to provide quality education to rural and tribal students

The undergraduate courses of BA., B.Sc., B.Com., BMS, BMM and a postgraduate degree, M.Com are offered by the institution. The Namita Education Society also runs a High School, called Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Secondary and Higher Secondary School in addition to its Siddharth College of Education offering B.Ed courses. A good, dedicated and highly qualified teaching and non-teaching staff are the backbone for the progress of our college. Each class is effectively guided by their mentors. We are well equipped with good infrastructure, a library and laboratories.

Our History

Namita Education Society’s Siddharth College of Arts, Commerce and Science, a minority institution has been established way back in 1997 by Shri. N. S. Jadhav is a visionary. The college got affiliated with the University of Mumbai in 2012.

Our Mission

The vision of our college is to provide quality education to rural and tribal students and to empower them to become self-reliant, responsible, competitive and competent citizens in society. Despite our college being located in a rural, hilly and tribal area, the college runs enrolled more than 1200 students this academic year.
